July 6, 2007, Newsletter Issue #68: Comfortable Sauna Accessories

1

Tip of the Week

The whole point of using a sauna is to relax and be comfortable. But there are quite a few sauna accessories that can enhance your experience and make you more comfortable.

Perhaps the most popular comfort sauna accessory is a sauna headrest. When you recline in a sauna, you may want to prop your head up – but using a pillow is out of the question, as it will get moldy with prolonged sauna use.

You can purchase a sauna headrest made of cedar, redwood, hemlock, or a choice of other woods. The headrest can fit into the décor of your sauna and add comfort and style to your sauna experience.

Other comfort accessories include sauna brushes, designed to scrub and exfoliate the skin, and sauna sponges, designed for the same thing. Sauna soap is used for bathing in the sauna and resists getting “mushy” with prolonged sauna exposure.
